About the journal
Space and Culture’s unique focus is on social spaces.
The journal brings together dynamic, critical interdisciplinary research in cultural geography, sociology, cultural studies, architectural theory, ethnography, communications, urban studies, environmental studies and discourse analysis.
The Space and Culture Reading Group at the University of Alberta and the weblog explore a wide variety of topics related to these interests and more. In 2008 we started publishing the journal’s book reviews online.
Space and Culture is published quarterly by Sage Publications.
