I understand there have been some discussions about Todorov’s semiotics, Shukin and maybe Rebecca has a paper in progress(?). I’m concentrating on writing and fieldwork this summer but I am going to suggest some directions regarding space, the body and anticipatory critique/politics.
For those interested, following on readings of Butler (in SOC 604), Merleau-Ponty and body/space last term, I’ve now received a complete set
of the Merleau-Ponty association journal Chiasmi, vols. 1-6 and Vol. 1 of their book series Merleau-Ponty aux frontieres de l’invisible, which are not available in the library or online. Articles are in French, English and Italian.
Issues of Keith Ansell-Pearson’s Warwick journal Pli are on order (and some issues are online).
Following up on the Lefebvre discussions - online resources - I’m looking for suggestions to add new websites to this page, which will be moved over the summer.
