Technical aside
You may have noticed that comments have been disabled for awhile as I played with some of Blogger’s new features. The first thing I did was enable comments - and I promptly disabled them when I experienced what a pain in the ass it is to actually post a comment. Why on earth would someone want to set up a Blogger account only to make a comment?! (The only other alternative is to post anonymously but, in my experience, that only appeals to cowards with obnoxious things to say.) So we’ve gone back to blogKomm-powered commenting. I am currently testing the latest version of blogKomm - compatible with Blogger’s new individual post pages - and will apply it here if all works well. Thanks for your patience.
For those wondering why we still use Blogger despite its limitations, I can only say that we support free services that can be implemented and maintained with little or no technical knowledge. Having said that, it did take basic knowledge of php to get blogKomm working the way we wanted. So maybe we don’t know what the hell we’re talking about.
Oh ya. I almost forgot to mention that you can now search the site too. Handy, huh?
