Welcome to the weblog for the journal Space & Culture – a place to discuss, well, things related to space and culture.
The tagline is straight from Debord’s Theory of the Dérive and I took this picture while waiting in an airport. I don’t even remember which one anymore. It reminds me of Torill Mortensen’s The Geography of a Non-place – which begins with the line “My home is my airport.”
Rob Shields is the Editor of Space & Culture, and my PhD supervisor. It was my idea to keep a weblog as we redesign the journal website. Anyone who reads PLSJ will recognise the template, and I will now be posting everything related to space and culture here.
